Profile of the Borough of Rushmoor


Borough of Rushmoor The Borough of Rushmoor occupies 15.06 square miles in the very north east of Hampshire. It is a predominantly urban area with the towns of Aldershot and Farnborough extending to over 60% of the Borough, and around 45% of the land is owned by the Ministry of Defence. It has a population of nearly 90,000, who live in approximately 34,000 homes.

Around 69% of the homes are owner occupied, 7% are privately rented and the remaining 24% are housing association stock.
